When I was taking a picture of Loki's nap position, my phone thought he was a flower 🌷 This is what 9 days of puppies and little time for anything else looks like 😅 Now they both have names 🙈 I'd like to officially welcome Loki (dapple) and Aragorn (choccy) to the pack 💕 Name chosen!! Thank you all for your suggestions 🙏🏻 I still couldn't decide, so I ended up using an online wheel of names. I still had a shortlist of 7 🙈 This little chipolata came home with us yesterday and still doesn't have a name!! In celebration of #NationalPetMonth, I wanted to share a story about the little heartbeats that have anchored me through some of my hardest years. That escalated quickly... 😳 (this should have posted yesterday!). Walking home from my second #LineDancing class ✨️ When you live with an #ostomy, there's often a kind of vulnerability in the simple act of getting dressed. For a long time, my bedroom mirror was a place of scrutiny rather than reflection. I would look at my #stoma and my scars, and see a list of things I had to hide, or a body that felt like it had betrayed me. Monday was supposed to be a productive day. With the bank holiday, I had it all mapped out: design, record, and edit new yoga practices while the world was quiet. I finally got myself organised, grabbed a blanket, and found the one sun-spot in the garden to start my work. Just sharing my #IBD / #UlcerativeColitis diagnosis story from waaaay back in 2007! 😳 If you start reading my post and it doesn’t resonate with you, it’s not for you. And that’s OK! It’s not all about you…
