I've been thinking about how my #MentalHealth and my physical body are linked. After years of traditional therapy that didn't help, I've been looking into the research surrounding psychedelic-assisted therapy. I spent a recent Saturday undergoing a small bowel contrast Magnetic Resonance Enterography (MRE), and I wanted to share a quick reality check for anyone else living with #InflammatoryBowelDisease (IBD). These scans are a necessary part of our care, but they can be a lot to handle, both physically and mentally! I had my contrast MRE over a week ago, and I'm still suffering with intestinal cramps! 😫 On the 21st of April, I finally headed to the hospital for an appointment that has been over a year in the making. I was seen by a Registrar, so I immediately felt like I wasn’t being taken seriously. When I was taking a picture of Loki's nap position, my phone thought he was a flower 🌷 This is what 9 days of puppies and little time for anything else looks like 😅 Now they both have names 🙈 I'd like to officially welcome Loki (dapple) and Aragorn (choccy) to the pack 💕 Name chosen!! Thank you all for your suggestions 🙏🏻 I still couldn't decide, so I ended up using an online wheel of names. I still had a shortlist of 7 🙈 This little chipolata came home with us yesterday and still doesn't have a name!! In celebration of #NationalPetMonth, I wanted to share a story about the little heartbeats that have anchored me through some of my hardest years. That escalated quickly... 😳 (this should have posted yesterday!). Walking home from my second #LineDancing class ✨️
