This little chipolata came home with us yesterday and still doesn't have a name!! In celebration of #NationalPetMonth, I wanted to share a story about the little heartbeats that have anchored me through some of my hardest years. That escalated quickly... 😳 (this should have posted yesterday!). Walking home from my second #LineDancing class ✨️ When you live with an #ostomy, there's often a kind of vulnerability in the simple act of getting dressed. For a long time, my bedroom mirror was a place of scrutiny rather than reflection. I would look at my #stoma and my scars, and see a list of things I had to hide, or a body that felt like it had betrayed me. Monday was supposed to be a productive day. With the bank holiday, I had it all mapped out: design, record, and edit new yoga practices while the world was quiet. I finally got myself organised, grabbed a blanket, and found the one sun-spot in the garden to start my work. Just sharing my #IBD / #UlcerativeColitis diagnosis story from waaaay back in 2007! 😳 If you start reading my post and it doesn’t resonate with you, it’s not for you. And that’s OK! It’s not all about you… THANK YOU so much to everyone who has sent images or requested the information. We've had lots already and have many more on the way, so I'll be turning the comments off now.
