The Mind-Body IBD Study is looking for people with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis to take part in a study to explore the connection between the brain and the gut.
Eligibility criteria:
- Been diagnosed with IBD
- 18+ yrs old
- Live in the UK
- Experienced a flare in the last 2 years
- Do not have cancer
- Do not take ibuprofen/aspirin regularly
What your participation will involve:
- 3 questionnaires – by-yearly
- 2 stool samples – now and in 6 months
You will receive a £10 voucher when you complete the second questionnaire and stool sample and a £5 voucher when you complete the third questionnaire.
This study is organised by a research team at King’s College London. They will be
responsible for the coordination, data collection, analysis and administration. The study is
funded by the Medical Research Council.
